Line 6 Flextone III XL

I love this amplifier!  The Flextone III XL is exactly what I need as a cover band player.  It has great versatility and is easy to use.  I purchased the shortboard with it so that I had access to the built in configurations.

Recently I've been using a POD XT Live with this amp.  I just use the 'returns' to bring the signal from the POD into the power amplifier and I have the same great amps as well as stomp boxes at my feet!

I can't say enough about the Line 6 product set, I really dig what they're doing.

Marshall MG30DFX

A great amp for practicing or small gigs.  I use this if I go out and join Matt at one of his one man show gigs.  It has the right sound and is the right weight for just walking up and plugging in.

I need to make an honorable mention of my 1983 Fender Twin Reverb amplifier.  I had that through most of my playing days and traded it in July of 2004 when I purchased the Line 6 Flextone III plus.

I had modified it with a couple of kits from Dan Torres at Torres Engineering and it sounded great.  It was just too heavy and not versatile enough for my needs.  But it was with me on many gigs and recording sessions and I wanted to mention that I had a solid performing amp with the Twin.
