These are the earliest recordings of my playing. I was about 16 years old (1980) when they were done using an old 'Realistic' tape recorder in my bedroom. I'm playing my Crestline Les Paul copy through a Gibson GA-5W amp using an Electro-Harmonix Big Muff and Memory Man.
I wrote the music and Scott Davis wrote the lyrics. Chuck West is playing the drums and Pat Shamming is on vocals. He's singing through a guitar amp.
I really enjoyed this period as I was learning a lot and writing original songs. Scott is a great lyricist, he has that magic ability to write about anything and with meaning.
You can hear my Ace Frehley, Tony Iommi and Ted Nugent influences. I don't remember if I had heard Eddie Van Halen at this point yet, but since I don't hear two hand tapping I'm going to say that I hadn't.
